Lisa Larson and Angela Wu of Sotheby's International Realty have closed the sale of Apartment 91 at 1130 Park Avenue, a classic prewar co-op on the corner of 91st Street in Carnegie Hill. The home sold for $5,677,000 in October 2026.

The residence is all about grand proportions. A 21-foot center gallery sets the tone, and every main room flows from it. The living room is anchored by a wood-burning fireplace with a carved Carrara marble mantel, under high beamed ceilings and over herringbone floors, with open views of Brick Presbyterian Church. The formal dining room takes in western light. Just past it, a windowed eat-in kitchen with Carrara marble counters, custom cabinetry and Sub-Zero and Miele appliances leads to a wallpapered library and media room with a custom banquette and built-ins.

The private wing holds three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath. The corner primary suite looks north and west toward Central Park and has a windowed marble bath with heated floors. The second bedroom is generous enough to serve as a second primary. The third comes with a large bonus room, now used as a walk-in closet. A guest powder room off the gallery, refinished hardwood floors, prewar detailing and a private storage bin round out the home.

The building was designed by architect George Fred Pelham and completed in 1927. It is one of Carnegie Hill's most sought-after addresses, surrounded by fine museums, boutiques and restaurants, with a 24-hour doorman, a fitness center, a bike room and a live-in superintendent.

For Larson, the sale adds another chapter at an address she knows well: her own sold record includes the penthouse at 1130 Park Avenue. A Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker, she is consistently ranked in the Top 10 of the Sotheby's International Realty East Side Manhattan Brokerage and in the firm's Top 100 nationally, and she has been named to the Wall Street Journal RealTrends list of America's top agents by sales volume. Together, Larson and Wu guided this rare Park Avenue prewar home to a successful close.
