The gated compound sits within the Laughlin Park enclave on about 1.96 acres. It carries six bedrooms and ten baths, and the listing describes a main residence joined by a guest house studio, a pool house and fitness studio, a tea house, and a separate garage, with views toward the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory.
Per the listing, the estate was originally designed in 1913 by architect B. Cooper Corbett and acquired by Cecil B. DeMille in 1916. In 1920 DeMille added the neighboring Dodd residence, once home to Charlie Chaplin, joining the two houses by a glass corridor.
