Catherine Harding of Compass closed Residence 6AC at 320 Riverside Drive for $4,250,000 on September 28, 2026. It is a big sale for this stretch of the Upper West Side, where full-floor-scale prewar layouts facing Riverside Park rarely come to market.

The apartment has eight rooms and about 3,000 square feet. The listing called it masterfully renovated and exquisitely designed, and the finish work backs that up. Hardwood floors run under tall beamed ceilings. The prewar detailing is intact. Skyline Windows frame views of Riverside Park and the Hudson River.

A central entrance gallery ties the entertaining rooms together. The sun-filled living room sits beside a library/den, with a formal dining room across the gallery, so the plan works for a quiet night in and for a full dinner party. The large windowed eat-in chef's kitchen has sleek custom cabinetry, stone countertops and top-tier appliances.

The private wing was laid out for privacy. The corner primary suite looks out over the river and has a king-sized layout and an en suite bath with a walk-in shower. Two of the secondary bedrooms face west, get full sun and have their own baths. There are 3.5 baths in all. Custom lighting and millwork, generous closets and storage, and an in-unit washer/dryer complete the home.

320 Riverside Drive is a full-service cooperative at West 104th Street. Residents get a full-time doorman, a live-in superintendent, storage, a bike room, a playroom and central laundry, and the building is pet-friendly.

Harding marketed the residence from its April debut through a summer contract, and it closed at $4,250,000 at the end of September. With classic six- and eight-room co-ops along the Drive in short supply, the sale shows that the best-renovated prewar homes on the Upper West Side still find buyers.
